Hi Rob Have you tried building it with MinGW instead? It would be worth doing, to see if the problem persists or not, which might give a further clue. I remember vaguely having to use some "no-cygwin" option to get around cygwin build problems, but that was so long ago, I can't be sure .... Cheers Jim White ANU, Canberra
