Something appears to be wrong with the main gmplib ftp server

[Not a GMP bug report, I therefore reply to the more generic gmp-discuss
list.]

  Hi gmplib team,
Yesterday morning when we were trying to do a standard rebuild of
OpenWRT, we discovered that the build process was erroring out due to
an apparent inability to download the proper version of gmplib
  (gmp-5.1.3.tar.bz2) from ftp.gmplib.org. We've been trying various
approaches to get this file over the past 24 hours, and all ftp-based
access attempts have timed out, no matter where or how we run them.

It seems operational; there are ongoing downloads now just as it has
been in the last days.

We can work around this issue by manually downloading a copy of the
requisite file over http, but since this problem theoretically affects
everyone trying to build OpenWRT from trunk, we thought we'd get in
touch to see if some configuration change might have been made that is
interfering with the automatic download process.

Please use https for fast and secure GMP downloads, not ftp. Our
servers don't speak http, except for redirect to https. They speak ftp
only slowly.
