MingW failed to build gmp-5.0.5

Hi, all:

I was considering to build gmp under MingW under Win7. However, the simple

./configure
>

just give me an error:

configure: error: could not find a working compiler, see config.log for
> details
> int main () { return 0; }

Can anybody please give me a hand on how to build gmp under Windows, using
MingW?
