sorting of big numbers

I am a PhD student at the University of Western Ontario. Currently, I am working on sorting of big numbers.

Do GMP provides any function for sorting big numbers? If yes, can you please tell me where should I get information on this?

Do GMP rely on sort() function of C++? If yes, can you please  tell me where should I get information on this?
