The text in the GMP manual needs clarification.

Specifically, a whitelist of platforms that are supported.  GCC
depends on MPFR, which depends on GMP.  Therefore, GMP has a strong
grip on what GCC can support.  Documenting that will at least make it
clear what the current state of affairs is for GCC host platforms.
