No problems on Win32, gcc version 3.4.4 (mingw special 20050831).
Built both a static mpfr-2.2.0 against a static gmp-4.1.4, and a shared
mpfr-2.2.0 against a shared gmp-4.1.4.
Both built and tested fine for me.
