GMP for SparcV9

Hi,

I would like to use the GMP library on a SUN machine with SparcV9 CPU. According to the manual, there isn't an optimized version for this CPU. I wounder whether
1). I can build the library with no optimization so it will work on that CPU?
2). Is there a plan to support this CPU in the future and when?
3). Is there any other suggestions to make that library work on that CPU?
