File is not of required architecture

Hi!

I build the GMP lib on my MacBook Pro with Intel Core 2 Duo.

I use

./configure --enable-cxx --disable-shared
make
make check
sudo make install

When I try to link with my program, I get

warning: file is not of required architecture

for libgmp.a and libgmpxx.a libs, and a lot of link error from ld. Also, ranlib tells me that there are no symbols in the libraries.

Can you advise?
