Well, no. It is a mistake that not both configure.in and configure
are explicitly patched (in that order) by the diff file. Anyway, as
long as you don't manually run autoconf there should be no problem.
The configure change is irrelevant to the bug you reported. The only
relevant change is the one to mpn/generic/addsub_n.c.
