gmp 4.2 fails tests on G5

Apple's compilers are not any more buggy than gcc on other systems.
There is a bug in their loader 'ld' which doesn't load segments that a DATA only.
I posted the patch but the bugmailer bounced it even though I am subscribed (interesting;-).
Email if you want a link to the patch that for some reason is not being put in the source. 

IT sounds like Mr. Granlund is willing to state he'll consider putting it in so I am not sure why he has not. Maybe Apple would liek to knwo also.

It was done three weeks ago. It is a simple three lines and someone outside of swox already did the work and submitted it to the list so I don't know why it isn't in there.
