Your explanation and map are fascinating. Exploring the relationship
between source and binary is the most interesting part of my task. Where
shared library versions come from has been a deep mystery.

BTW, should you ever wish to inconvenience your former coworkers greatly,
use GPL code in a built artifact without keeping the relevant source
around.
