workflow: build lib for crosscompiler

Sorry,  I  have never studied informatics  .. so my question is maybe stupid for you. 

I only want to know if I have to compile gmplib with gcc  or with my used cross compiler (where i will use the lib later).

In the manual I've not found a section telling me what to use.

I cannot follow your suggested alternatives.

Did you try following the "workflow" suggested in the fine manual...?
