two questions on GMP & C float

  OK.  Do you think the GMP documentation could state this explicitly ?

  recommend to use MPFR instead".

Perhaps it should.  And perhaps there should be a chapter pointing to
useful extension libraries (MPFR, MPFI, MPC, more?).
