Anti-GMP sentiments?

Hello GMP team,

I'd like to ask about this "anti-GMP sentiments?" Could you explain me a
little bit more?
Does this have to do with building GMP on Windows?

I myself use GMP, both on Linux and Window (MinGW GCC and Visual Studio),
and not having problem with that.
