GMP build on powerpc603e

Hi,
   we are trying build gmp for powerpc603e. we were able configure and
build the gmp with option : ./configure --build=i686-pc-cygwin
--host=none
but we want to optimize it for powerpc603e.
When we use ./configure --build=i686-pc-cygwin --host=ppcbe-qnx6, it
configure and  when we build it, it give error.
I want ask that does the option we are giving is correct or not for cross
compiling,if not which is the correct option and does we have to make any
changes in configure file.
