Help with reading and writing to a file

I am trying to understand why the following two files cause the
following condition to occur. When two mpf_class objects, m_speed and
m_time, are written in the File_Writer class (attached) to a file all
appears to be fine. When I read those two values from the file all the
data is in m_speed and the m_time is 0. Is there any reason for this?
