problem in installing gmp under solaris 8

Hello,

I tried to install gmp 4.1.2 under Solaris 8. After running ./configure, I started make and the following happened:

What means "v8plus instructions" and "non-v8plus target binary"?  What should I change to install gmp?
I'm quite sure that the files are not demaged during downloding because the linux-installation ran without any problems.

I' m  deeply grateful for any hint!
