hi all,
        thanx to all those who replied for my bugging mails.i got 
the same error for some other things also. so i decided to 
reinstall gcc . i reinstalled it fully(all of gcc I mean!) and now 
its working . may be some of my files were corrupt.so i am going 
to get started on this one only now!!.
