Hi,
I am trying to use GMP C++ interface on my Redhat 8.0. As rpm packages
dont give it, i decide to install the full tarball one:
./configure --enable-cxx OK
make OK
make check OK
make install OK
But:
ocm@ocmstar (17:28:51) ~/C/ 378 > find /usr/local -name "*gmp*"
/usr/local/lib/libgmp.so.3.3.1
/usr/local/lib/libgmp.so.3
/usr/local/lib/libgmp.so
/usr/local/lib/libgmp.la
/usr/local/lib/libgmp.a
/usr/local/include/gmpxx.h <--- GOOD !
/usr/local/include/gmp.h
/usr/local/info/gmp.info
/usr/local/info/gmp.info-1
/usr/local/info/gmp.info-2
/usr/local/info/gmp.info-3
/usr/local/info/gmp.info-4
/usr/local/info/gmp.info-5
/usr/local/info/gmp.info-6
/usr/local/info/gmp.info-7
/usr/local/info/gmp.info-8
/usr/local/info/gmp.info-9
But, i dont see the libgmpxx.* file !???????
To use GMP C++ interface, i need to add "-L pathofgmptgz/.libs"
on my compilation line.
Is there anybody there to explain me ?
Regards,
Cpm.
