GMP test environment

We have had semi-reproducible GMP regression test failures for 5 of the
GMP test machines.  It turned out to be a problem with after updateing
bash, it started using a surprising amount of stack, but just for some
machines.  We made a workaround, the test report pages should start
clearing up.

The GMP automated "night-builds" have become day-builds.  This is
because the GMP machines are driven by solar energy from now on.
