[ADMIN] GMP mailing list

The GMP mailing lists have been down for several months, but I am now
working on resuming their operation.

If you get this message, chances are that things now work again.

The backgound is that a security update to the (FreeBSD) virtual server
broke the mailing list software (mailman).  I usually update manually
applications from FreeBSD's posts source tree, but that did not work
with the obsolete FreeBSD version which the server ran.  Therefore, I
installed a precompiled mailman update, but that did not work with the
MTA software (poatfix).  A mess, and I did not have time to try to fix
it until now.

The fix was a complete reinstall of the server.
