GMP related projects as an academic research

Hi,

I am a PhD student and I am looking for a scientific project to do and add
it to my previous works to finish my PhD. Do you have a requirement or
project idea which relates to computer architecture and scientific
computing to do?

I should mention that my past work was related to nVidia GPUs and LU
decomposition.
