xtrange redundant depend at configure for compilation

i'm compiling in alpine and also in debian various versions of gmp lib. .

locally it compiles fine (that of course i have a previous gmp lib
installed by distribution)

but remote at OBS service it raised always an error:

/usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.3.2/cc1: error while loading shared
libraries: libgmp.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file
or directory

this are very rare.. inclusively i forced the install of the gmp lib from
vendor distribution!

any ideas? only most recent version does not give me that error, but i need
to compile some olders cos we run 3rth party software that check exact one!
