You need to report crashes in compilers to the compilers' maintainers.

  Solved it. It was a bug in clang 3.6. I've switched over to clang 3.7 and
  the issue disappeared.
  
Beware that clang outrageously often generates incorrect code for GMP.
Only the x86 backend seem to work properly.
