Or more precisely, I guess this fragment of aclocal.m4 comes from
libtool? (The automake package includes a program aclocal, which
generates aclocal.m4 from various sources, depending on which macros are
used in configure.ac, and which macros are installed by other packages,
in particular, libtool).
So you could try upgrading libtool to the latest version, regenerate all
autoconf-related files. The .bootstrap script in the repository includes
the needed steps.
