Questions about installing GMP-5.1.3

Using CentOS 6.2
GMP-5.1.3 downloaded from http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gmp
GMP-5.1.3.gz is extracted to /usr/local/src/GMP-5.1.3
and did configuration in /usr/local/temp1
and I want to install GMP in /usr/local/GMP-5.1.3
when I "make check ", I encountered strange things.
When test goes into CXX directory,
it says"ALL 0 tests passed" and says nothing else.
So I ignoreed this and make install，then the terminal reminds me to make
check. I guess it means make install failed.
