With Sun Studio 12 compiler tools I see a great deal of the following :
cc: Warning: -xarch=v9 is deprecated, use -m64 to create 64-bit programs
"../gmp-impl.h", line 3362: warning: attribute "mode" is unknown, ignored
"../gmp-impl.h", line 3362: warning: attribute parameter "QI" is undefined
"../gmp-impl.h", line 3363: warning: attribute "mode" is unknown, ignored
"../gmp-impl.h", line 3363: warning: attribute parameter "SI" is undefined
"../gmp-impl.h", line 3364: warning: attribute "mode" is unknown, ignored
"../gmp-impl.h", line 3364: warning: attribute parameter "SI" is undefined
"../gmp-impl.h", line 3365: warning: attribute "mode" is unknown, ignored
"../gmp-impl.h", line 3365: warning: attribute parameter "DI" is undefined
"../gmp-impl.h", line 3366: warning: attribute "mode" is unknown, ignored
"../gmp-impl.h", line 3366: warning: attribute parameter "DI" is undefined
The -m64 warning is harmless, mnore or less. Not too sure of the "attribute"
complaints.
