Possible issue on windows build (mingw)

I used that machine and faked sandybridge.  I used the snapshot from
<ftp://ftp.gmplib.org/pub/snapshot/>.  (Incidentally, this snapshot area
hasn't been filled since we switched from lz to xz.  Now fixed.)

Unfortunately, I am not able to reproduce the massive problem you
observed.  I will not try more, since I don't know what to try.

We need help with isolating this problem.
