ABI=2.0w (64-bit) HP-UX test failures

The code compiles successfully, but some of the tests are failing, starting
with:

The configuration was:

ABI=2.0w CC=cc CFLAGS='+uc +DA2.0W' LDFLAGS='+DA2.0W' \
        ./configure --prefix=$HOME/local \
        --disable-libtool-lock

I've attached 'make' and 'make check' log as *nohup-64.out.gz*.

I can also contribute config.log if necessary.
