Hello,

I am trying to generate an LFS 6.4 system on/for a Geode LX computer
(which is an i586 platform), but I think the way LFS does things makes
the gmp generate i686 instructions (which causes crashes)

I am trying to use a config.site file to tell gmp that the host and the
build computer is a i486-pc-linux-gnu, but I am not very successful so
far. I would be grateful if you could tell me what I shall put in the
config.site file to achieve the same effect as if I had configured gmp
as follows:

./configure --host=i486-px-linux-gnu --build=i486-pc-linux-gnu

Best regards
Karl Osen

PS: My Linux project is for the flight management system of the Antares
DLR-H2 aircraft:
