gmp-4.2.2 fails to build on MacOS X Tiger 10.4.11

Whether that is a bug can be debated, but that is surely not causing
the poor interoperation between the compiler and assembler.

(Core2 is not entirely compatible with the K8, there are instructions
in both the are not implemented in the other.)
