Error report while installing the GMP Library

Thanks a lot for your valuable response.
Can please tell me How to build static version of GMP and which path I
need to set in LD_LIBRARY_PATH?.

all the tests fail because the linker cannot find libgmp.so.3, probably
because it isn't in $LD_LIBRARY_PATH. You can either build a static
version of the gmp, or set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to an appropriate directory.
