Well, I use "try" daily, on varying systems, including systems with
glibc. Therefore, it seems more likely that try.c was miscompiled,
than that it contains an elementary allocation bug.
I cannot test it, the only ppc64 system to which I have access gets
intermittent failures due to the kernel bug I mentioned. You need to
debug this, if you want it fixed.
