Compiler bug.  That "build 5341" is no good for GMP.

The suggestion is that you uninstall the compiler and return to an
older one, if you need to compile GMP.

I have no opinion on which Apple compiler release is better.  It is
possible that 2.3 is less buggy that all their previous releases, and
just happens to get unlucky with GMP.
