GMP 4.1.3 - t-cmp_si fails on x86_64

With a vanilla GMP 4.1.3 on certain x86-64 machines, `configure;make;make
check` gives me the following failure in tests/mpf:
mpf_cmp_si wrong on data[6]
a=-0.1e1 (-1)
b=1 (1)
got=0
want=-1
FAIL: t-cmp_si
I've encountered this with both Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 and Suse Linux
Enterprise 8, but not on Suse Linux Professional 9.1. Any help resolving this
problem would be much appreciated.
