GMP installation on Solaris2.7

gcc built for Solaris 2.5.1 will not work properly on Solaris 2.6 and 
2.7, in my experience. That's with gcc 2.7.2.2, but I doubt that later 
versions are any better, since the problems are down to the system headers.

Try getting a gcc from Sun freeware <http://www.sunfreeware.com/>. If 
they don't have the version of gcc you want, download another one and 
then build with the version you want with it.
