bad mpq_get_d results on PowerPC Linux

Hi,

I'm trying to build gmp 4.1.2 from source on Yellow Dog Linux 2.3 (Macintosh
Xserve, PowerPC 7455).

I'm using gcc 3.3.1, which I have compiled myself.  (The system-provided
gcc 2.95.4 chokes on something during gmp compilation.)

My "configure" options are

../../gmp-4.1.2/configure --enable-cxx --prefix=/afs/bi/v/@sys/libraries/gmp/4.1.2

"make" goes through fine, but "make check" reports the following error:
