Help with gmp-4.0.1 and gcc-3.3.1 on sparcv9?

It is better to send a bug report too much, than one too little.

  But the tree-ssa C compiler still does not bootstrap properly on 
  sparcv9-sun-solaris2.8, so this is somewhat moot.

Oh, no!  Then you should get yourself a powerpc-ibm-aix machine
instead, they are also much faster.  :-)
